Montserrat Junior Calypso Monarch 2017

It is Junior Calypso monarch season in Montserrat and young calypsonians there will compete in this year’s show (2017) slated as part of St. Patrick’s Festival Week.

According to the Montserrat Union of Teachers, which organises the competition, the show is scheduled for Sunday 12th March 2017 at Salem Park commencing at 8 p.m. under the theme “My Identity”.

All participants will deliver two original songs. The first song will be based on the theme and the other song participants will be allowed to sing on a topic of their choice.
