Sebrena Sumra Kelly, President and founder of The Caribbean-American Businesswhose intention it was to attend the conference as a participant and networker, made good on her opportunity when the surprise guest speaker was unable to attend. Mrs. Sumra Kelly asked us without hesitation, "Are you an asset or a liability?" She then launched into strategic ways for us to remain assets, not only to ourselves but to our employers and peers as well. After her hair raising presentation, we were again requested to repeat an affirmation which would suggest that we are all assets and will never become liabilities to ourselves and others.
